Singer Songwriter Ridge Banks, hailing from the quaint town of Fenton, Michigan, now calls Nashville, TN home. Raised in a household pulsating with melodies, he found his voice and passion for performing at a tender age.

Pioneering his 'Rugged Acoustic' sound, Ridge seamlessly blends the picking styles reminiscent of legends like Jim Croce, John Denver, and Eric Clapton with the rhythmic flair of modern icons such as Ed Sheeran, John Mayer, and Tommy Emmanuel. His innovative use of alternative tunings infuses his music with an authentic edge akin to the likes of Stephen Stills, Joe Bonamassa, and Dave Matthews.

Drawing from a diverse palette of Blues, Rock, and Country influences, Ridge crafts uplifting compositions that resonate with authenticity and soul. Transitioning from a career in healthcare, he made the bold leap to pursue music full-time, releasing his debut album in November 2018.

Continuing to push creative boundaries, Ridge's latest single "Doors" released on March 14th, 2025, showcases a collaboration with the UK extension of his original quarantine garage band, "Ridge Banks and the Wall of Sound" Just coming off their "Cowboys & Foxes"  tour through the UK.  His talent and dedication were recognized as a finalist for "Best Male Artist" at the 2021 and 2024 International Acoustic Music Awards (IAMA) and named 2024 "USA Artist of the Year"  by the Elite Music Awards affirming his place as a rising star in the music industry. Ridge Banks & The Wall of Sound was named Group of the Year by Galaxy 107 FM New Zealand.
